Santa Reads on Facebook Live
December 8, 17 and 23 from 6 – 6:30 p.m. on the North Kitsap Fire & Rescue Facebook Page.
Join Santa as he reads his favorite holiday stories and shares safety tips alongside his firefighter friends.
Let Santa’s helpers know who will be watching by sending an email to white@nkfr.org by 5 p.m. on the day of the event.
CHILD CAR SEAT CHECKS
More than 60% of car seats are improperly installed or used;
make sure your kids are riding as safely as possible.
NKF&R’s certified child passenger safety technician
checks child car seats for free. Seat checks are held on the
second Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at
the district’s headquarters fire station (26642 Miller Bay Road NE near Kingston).
CPR & AED TRAINING
See a video demonstrating the local chain of survival in a simulated event. Read a story about how the chain of survival helped ensure the recovery of a Kingston-area cardiac arrest patient. Find out about the local chain of survival and get additional links to learn more.
